Hello World! My baby Ayden has arrived...

Finally the big day has arrived, a new family member has joined us. We are very happy and excited to welcome my first baby boy.

Dinner @ Victoria Station, Taipan

A simple yet joyful dinner with my hubby tonight. No cake, no candle and no birthday song.

Here comes our main courses.... I had "All Poultry" (with chicken sausages, fillet and pate) and honey dew juice. And for him is his usual Fish & Chip and Ice mocha latte.

Preparation to Welcome My Baby

There are just too many things to prepare. After downloaded few samples of New Born Checklist, it added more headaches.... There are way too many different stuff to buy, apparels, nursery, feeding, health care, bathing & Grooming and etc
A very big thank you to my sister Eunice and my good friend June for their courteous contribution and advices. A list of preparation for my records and remembrance and also I hope it to be a guidance for other parents-to-be.

Apparels: Bodysuits, infant cap, mittens and booties, socks, blankets, grobag, Laundry detergent for infants.

Feeding: Medela Freestyle electric breast pump, breast pad, nipple cream, breast milk storage containers, feeding bottles, bottle brush, steriliser.

Bathing & grooming: bath tub, wash cloths, towels, Water Temperature Indicator, cotton pads, cotton balls, cotton buds, Bepanthen cream, Seba-med Baby cleanser.

Health Care and Hygiene:  Grooming set (Nail clipper, scissors), infra red thermometer.

Diapering : Cloth diapers (Bum Genius and Flip), wet bag, cream to prevent rash, disposable wipes, changing pad, Disposable diapers.

   

Nursery: Playpen, Baby cot, crib set (bumpers, fitted sheet, comforter), newborn pillow, Bumble Bee 2" latex mattress, Bolster, waterproof bed pads, blanket, night light, baby monitor

Travel: Stroller, infant car seat, baby sling, baby carrier, diapers bag, infant head support

My New Camera - Samsung ES65

Just bought a new compact camera last night. For the price of only RM400, I can get a 10.2Megapixel with 5x optical zoom compact camera, which is light weight and trendy. Now they even comes with smart auto mode, which is very suitable for people with no knowledge in photo shooting.

Dad's Birthday Dinner

18 July 2010, Sunday @ Restoran Loon Sing (Kuchai Lama)

We visited this newly opened restaurant for dinner last night. The captain is not well trained to recommend the dishes, may be due to the restaurant just opened. Furthermore, we have to wait more than half an hour for our food and yet the restaurant is only half loaded.

The had few dishes but the cod fish is quite nice. Serving is a portion per pax.

Gor Dai Lai Ceremony

Oh, yes! We still follow the Chinese traditional culture - Gor Dai Lai, around 2 weeks before our actual wedding day. Arrival of groom side with Dowry $$, Cakes, whole of Roast Pig, Jewelery set, 2 bottles of Liquor, oranges and etc. And the bride side has to give in return some oranges, drinks, part of the roast pig and etc. In this modern world, we try to make things simple, therefore a lot of things and procedure are omitted.
After the ceremony, we have lunch. Then my girl friends will follow me to shift my wedding stuff to the groom's house. The things, include jeweleries, new clothes, bed sheet, cosmetic sets, accessories and etc. Actually everything you want to display in your newly-wed room.

My Wedding Photos

Started to learn to collage photos and dig out my wedding photos 3 years ago... Recalling sweet memories, photos shooting at Titiwangsa and mostly in the studio. Hmmm!!The photos were taken at Touch Wedding at Jalan Imbi, which was newly opened at that time. The shop is no more there, moved to Jalan Ipoh, I think.

Please welcome... Joon Joon

We have a new member into our family on 2 Aug 2009, my nephew Joon Hyin. But I prefer calling him Joon Joon. He has all the funniest and cutest expressions. Sometimes it is very difficult to capture the precious moments of his laughters and cute actions. Opps!! My sis corrected me, not "sometimes", but all the times. When you look at the photos, they'll just melt your heart and cheer up the rest of your day.

My 1st Blog!!

Finally I created my very own blog!!! YEAH!! I wanted to create this very very long time ago... just that... Sigh! No time is one of the excuses.

Excited? Is this my feelings now? Cant really tell. May be I'm just "3 minutes hot" kinda attitude, as usual. My main purpose of writing this blog is to write down all the very important and wonderful things that happened in my life. I believe sweet memories will always stay in our mind but it'll slowly fade out when time passes by. Therefore, as I am still young, and I think I am, as I may have spent just 30% of my whole life span, I would like to write it out as far as I can recall.
So that I can recall when I grow older...

There are really too many things that I wanted to write it out... from my wedding, my honeymoon trip.... my trips with family, my sister's wedding... and the recent one is my new family member, my nephew, Joon . Ok! let's get started..
